Modern budget hotel offering a bar, a gym & a seasonal outdoor pool, plus free breakfast & parking.

Nice newer hotel, reasonably priced, was better than I had expected. Had a nice quiet nights sleep. The room was a nice size with higher than average ceilings. The room was modern, large TV, clean all over, no complaints from me. Felt safe parking and leaving it in the lot. The person preparing breakfast did not show up, so I had my own oatmeal in my room. The desk person later put out some basic items. The photo looks west from the top floor. Some construction is taking place on lot in front.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and located exactly where I requested it to be. The wonderful staff definitely keeps things running smoothly.. thanks for a great stay! We'll be back!

Checkout is at 11am, however housekeeping was at my door at 930am. And as I was exiting the hotel, to which I usually never do breakfast at hotels anymore. A older guest very pleasant with her grands and a dog suggested I get breakfast, as they weren't closed yet, so I went and took a look around and at last moment decided to at least make a waffle. And I'm short so reaching the cup took half a minute and then unwrapping the plastic and beginning the waffle mix pour into the cup, half way in the breakfast attendant walked in and rudely cut all the lights out, closed the door and said you need to get out. I looked at her and repeated her request and left the mix and walked out. And as I was walking out the same nice lady who made the suggestion asked, "didn't you find anything to eat," I nicely repeated what I was told and proceeded to assure her that it was ok, while walking toward the exit and wishing her well, and she was in utter disgust and she took it to be her fault.

A Disappointing StayI recently stayed at this hotel over the weekend, and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience. From the moment I checked in, there were several issues that made my stay uncomfortable.First, the towels in my room had a horrible smell, which was very off-putting. The bed sheets were also ripped, which is not something you expect when staying at a hotel. It immediately gave me the impression that the room wasn’t properly maintained.During the nights, the hallways and the lobby had a terrible odor that resembled sewage or something equally unpleasant, which only made it harder to relax. To top it all off, on my last day while waiting for my Uber in the lobby, I saw not one, but three rats casually walking across the floor. It was both shocking and disgusting.Overall, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance at this hotel made my stay extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this place until serious improvements are made.

Nice clean room, had square pillows which I thought was weird. Very nice front desk service. Verity of breakfast choices, but didn't care for the eggs. Self made pancakes where good.

The Young lady checked me in was VERY Nice. But, when I asked for a late checkout which is guaranteed by my platinum status with Wyndham Rewards They wanted $35 per hour! Noon check-out Free 1pm $35? Outrageous! I'll stay elsewhere next time! They claim they are Customer satisfaction oriented here? Laughable! MANY Empty rooms! Not even 50% capacity! If they don't want to help their guests with their itinerary I can easily find a hotel that will!

Rooms were dirty, had to change my own sheets, door was broken, walls had holes in it. Breakfast was not real food, no options. No where near for what we paid.

Due to a catastrophic weather event we had to change our plans. Third party vendor was difficult to deal with. I was so thankful for Doris at the hotel that walked me through the process and was so helpful and knowledgeable. She resolved our issue and we were so thankful for her help. Lesson learned, next time we will call and book with the hotel directly. She was amazing.

Clean rooms, but breakfast was dehydrated eggs, pretty greasy sausages. Belgian Waffles, milk, juice and muffins were good.

DANGEROUS HOTEL! DO NOT STAY HERE!Unauthorized person(s) entered our room while we were gone. See below...******************When we began staying at this location it was new, beautiful, and well-maintained. We have stayed here several times since, including seven months ago, and we didn't notice any problems. But we checked in last night and were not thrilled. Upon arriving on the second floor, our nostrils were assailed by a strong sewer smell. We encountered this smell several times while bringing our bags up, so Wifey mentioned it to the clerk, who seemed embarrassed. There are several reviews here mentioning water damage, mold and bad smells.Once in our room, we noticed that there was some kind of ad covering the picture on the TV. I went to call the front desk for help, but there was literally no cord on the phone. I guess the phone was just for decoration. 🙄 So, I called the desk from my mobile and the clerk came up to fix the TV. He never mentioned the phone. The next morning, we discovered that our fridge didn't work either. It was plugged in and turned on, but dead as a doornail. The bedding hasn't been replaced in a long time. The feather pillows are gone in favor of hard, polyester, and the duvet has seen better days. Someone even ripped a framed photo off the wall, so we got to look at the screws poking out. Classy.Upon returning after breakfast, we noticed water damage on the roof eaves and dented gutters. To be fair, I did hear drilling, but who knows if that is quality repair or a slap dash job? Either way, this property seems to have changed hands (not certain), and they don't seem to care about maintaining it.Someone came into our room after we checked in and left an empty beer can in our trash. We were gone for 12 hours, had the DND sign on the door, and the next morning, we found it in our trash. We did tell the front desk, and she didn't believe us. I am allergic to alcohol so we don't drink and it was not in our room when we arrived. So... how else did it get in there? There are also several reviews, at least one with video about walls covered in mold. Almost a year later, there is still water damage on the roof. La Quinta used to be our favorite brand, but the last three franchised properties we have stayed at are just shabby. What happened!?Given some of our recent past experiences (see my review for La Quinta-Phoenix West I-10) at hotels, complaining to staff about problems is useless and potentially dangerous. So, I won't be letting properties know if there is a problem with my room, I will just write a damaging review. As a former hospitality worker, if management is doing their job properly, they would catch these problems before guests do. Time to step up your game!RESPONSE TO OWNER:I find your response to be robotic and insincere. This is most likely an AI generated response. I do not feel in any way that this property cares at all about the guest experience. I doubt that under your management, it will ever flourish again. We will be filing a report with the health department. And we will never come back.

I want by mentioning that I probably would not give this hotel 1 star but I would be unable to post it.My husband and I have traveled from TX to Broken Arrow/ Tulsa OK multiple times and stayed in nearby hotels. We've never stayed at a La Quinta property so we decided to try this one. We arrived in town around 2:50 or 3 pm. When we got off the elevator, there was an odor that reminded me of dirty carpeting in the hallway. We stayed in room 227 and the same odor was there also. By this time, I was thinking, I hope we made the right decision to stay at this property so I was willing to give it a chance. Since we were quite hungry, went to the room to unpacked and shortly thereafter went back out. I usually check the room carefully but did not do so this time. Later when we returned, I noticed that the room had a lot of scratches on the walls and furniture. I was ready to relax for the evening and went into the bathroom to shower. I was saw two hair strands on the shower floor. My husband did not take a shower before or after we came back to the room so I was the first to use the shower. My first and immediate thought was the shower was not cleaned properly if it was even cleaned at all. There was black discoloration along the bottom crease of the shower wall and floor. I was very uncomfortable stepping in the shower so I placed a towel on the shower floor to stand on. Later on that evening, I went back into the bathroom and noticed a roach crawling on the floor alongside the vanity by the door. This is not what I was expecting! My husband saw a large soiled spot on the bedspread and I saw another soiled area on the bedspread. He had to use flimsy, dingy thin towel after showering the next morning that was smaller than the other ones. If I had known that, I would have used that towel to stand in the shower. The beds were OK, but I have slept on better mattresses in other hotels. I have photos of the dirty bedspread, hair in the shower and roach. We only stayed for one night but if it wasn't for that, we would have checked out of this dirty smelly, roach hotel immediately and checked into the Holiday Inn next door. This was not a comfortable environment for us taking into consideration of the rate of $118.80 per night + tax $14.75. Upon check out, the front desk staff person asked how was my stay. I let her know everything and showed her the photos. She did not seem concerned and apologetic. She told me that the floor we stayed on is usually for guest(s) with pets which was a very poor excuse. First of all, the bathroom should have been clean properly! There is no reason a guest should see hair in the shower. Secondly, we did not have a pet so why was this the first option to place us on this floor instead of placing us on a floor not designated for pets. The other excuse about the bedspread was it is hard to get those stains out. If this hotel considers the guest not important enough to provide unspotted linens, decent towels, and deodorize the carpet, it should not be in business. The breakfast was not of quality food and I did not eat there. We will NOT be staying at this property again.

Room was okay. Don't pay for an upgrade in the room as they just give you a handicap room. Breakfast was not great.

Great la Quinta. One of the best iv been at for sure. Really good service and very clean. And there was an absolutely gorgeous Latina/Mexican woman working front desk too lol so that’s always nice to be greeted by!! And she’s very nice too, she will take good care of you and make you feel right at home! She deserves a raise no doubt lol

I had read some negative reviews and was concerned but they were unfounded. The room was clean. The staff were nice, especially the evening shift woman at the desk! They allowed me to use the pool even though technically it was supposed to be closed. The pool was wonderful!

This particular hotel's sole saving grace is it's location; however, due to the variety of choices in the very near vicinity, I recommend skipping it altogether, especially if you're of African descent. When you pull into the parking lot, do yourself a favor and simply look up, you'll SEE the damages to the roof that causes it to leak and flood the fourth floor, causing damage to the ceilings and foul odors throughout the entire hallway of the third floor. At first, the woman at the front desk, stated that she had just come in from church (they have no business cards at all l, seemingly on purpose) had a very pleasant but extremely cold and unhelpful vibe. I saved my gripes for the general manager. The rooms aren't much better, specifically the third floor where the pet odors from the second floor and water damage from the fourth floor smash you in the middle.Room: One of those "conjoined rooms with the nearly faulty conjoining door lock between them" kind of things. Immediate anxiety. Was told it was "for staff access only, not guest use." PTSD Trigger averted, or so I thought, it was occupied within a half hour. First lie. Bathroom dirty. Dust everywhere, curtains off the track, closing stem broken, hanging off, falling off. even the cracked living room television. Soggy mattresses, miniature pillows, half the size of regular pillows. Also dirty. There's a wooden block that holds up one side of one bed, they say they're two queens, but they're really two doubles, filthy, "happy stains" left on the small orange chair to accompany the film of dirt all over.Tried to switch rooms but was told they were"not all clean at the momemt". Called an hour later: "sorry, we're at full capacity and I can't rent out any rooms om the fourth floor because of a roof leak." A total lie, plenty of rooms available on website, I'm a diamond member, I would know. Then I was told that I "could purchase an upgrade, for a King Executive Suite," fine. The attendant hung up and an hour went by. Called back down only to be put on hold for five minutes, then told, "well its $30 more for an upgrade." I immediately say, "Ok ,I'll take it." She then puts me on hold, asks to call me back, ten minutes later-calls me back. "Sorry, the room has been booked". Beyond frustrating. The "nice/nasty" passive aggressive attitudes hide clear apathy and racism that permeates the place from management on down. Asked to speak to general manager, was told quickly,"she's only here between 4-5 Monday!" Called Monday 5pm General Manager wasn't much better: snide, condescending, talking over you, addressing lies told by staff with MORE lies. Terrible management, offered "discount" sent over receipt with same previous amount.Called back to try to get correct receipt amount emailed, and was unceremoniously hung up on, of course. Avoid this place.Where's the Elevator Inspection Certificate? When are you going to fix the other elevator that's down? When will the roof repair be completed? When will all patrons of your establishment be treated with respect, regardless of their appearance? Here's a hint: Adequately answering the fourth question will help you adequately answer the others

I liked the place, the staff are really nice. I was skeptical because I had read the newest reviews. I didn't experience anything bad and had a great time. I usually book across the street in Stoney Creek, but since I didn't reserve before, they increased the price from 135 to 325.

Clean room, minor issues like bathroom door dragging the tile, dead bolt difficult to lock and musty smell. Staff was very attentive and friendly.

I live about half a mile away from the Broken Arrow La Quinta. I am having some work done on my house and wanted a place to stay for a couple of nights with my two cats. I made the reservation, and made note of the cats. The confirmation that I was sent specifically had a link to the amount I would be charged for bringing two cats. I called because I was going to check in late, and I was told that cats are not allowed at this location. No one called me proactively to tell me about the CAT policy, so I had to scramble at the last minute. I ended up staying at the La Quinta in Owasso, where I have stayed before, and my cats are welcome. The woman who helped me was very professional, although she was unable to make an exception for me. To me this seems like false advertising. She explained to me that they have contacted Wyndham about changing their online listing to reflect the fact that they do not accept cats. Nothing was done to make this situation right for me. I wrote to Wyndham, and they told me that it is a franchise issue. I am disappointed that the Broken Arrow La Quinta will not accept cats, and did not give me a satisfactory solution for the inconvenience. This is a hotel that I would have recommended friends and family to stay at, based on my experiences at other La Quinta’s. But right now, am pretty unhappy with them.

MOLD AND ROACH! HEALTH HAZARD! This place should be shut down. We had to leave because the mold was so bad it made us all feel sick and get a headache. We were here less than an hour! The roach was moving but on its back. Mold inside pull out couch. Mold down sides of couch and side tables. Mold inside the air conditioner, blowing it into the room. Check the reviews here. This place is terrible.

We arrived at 1am, got checked in. And when we got in our room it had a very bad stench smell. Settled in and when I walked to the other half of the room, it was flooded and everything was soaking wet. We also found a lot of Dog hair in that room. So we ended up getting another room, witch was cleaner. Water here smells really bad, like they don't have any filtration system.Asked for a late check out time of checking in. Clerk (male) said it's usually 11:30 but I can stay until 12. Next morning went up to another Clerk to ask if we can stay until 1pm because we only got into bed by 3am with the room transfer. Nope she was really sassy and told me I had to leave at 11:30. Contradicting what the other clerk said. Got her to let us stay until 12pm but she acted like she was doing me a huge favor and I haven't seen that much attitude in months. Lady I'm not your husband or son for you to have the right to talk to me like you did.Only writing this review because of the attitude the female clerk in the morning showed me. Hope she learns how to talk to people.
